ABOUT US

From our humble beginnings...

From our humble beginnings in commercial paving and asphalt to industrial development and apartment entitlement projects, over time we grew to become a formidable and trusted innovator in the real estate market. Those initial seeds planted by the family of Mimi (Turco) Feliciano crystallized in the 1980’s with an idea that set the stage for the type of innovation FEM Real Estate is known for today - King’s Court Health and Sports Club, the biggest racquetball facility in New Jersey at the time.

Subsequent years witnessed the development of numerous nursing care facilities in New Jersey, also the largest of their type in the state. This period also marked the transition to taking on more owner/operator opportunities such as Lincoln Park Care Center, Lincoln Park Nursing Home, and eventually the groundbreaking JDT Resort - the first facility in the United States to integrate a hospitality environment into short-term subacute care.

South Beach at Long Branch offered a unique opportunity for the firm to bring its unique vision for the future of Long Branch to fruition – FEM created a 42-unit luxury oceanfront project that set the top of the market for residential real estate in the Long Branch market. Built with a Miami vision, all units boast direct elevator access and unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Throughout our entire history, FEM Real Estate has remained a family business and that matters very much to us. It means that we’re a part of the communities we serve and have a vested interest in seeing them thrive.

To support and enrich this connection even further, there is a deliberate and consistent effort to give back. Named for Mimi and Edwin Feliciano, the Montclair State University Feliciano School of Business stands as a testament to hard work and determination of those who strive to forge their own path in life. FEM is also a proud patron of Connect for Freedom, a non-profit founded by Mimi Feliciano committed to educating and raising awareness of the risks of human trafficking.
